The resort consists of two hotel wings, “Al Waha” most ideal for Families and “Al Bandar” (the town). Rates mentioned are valid for the hotel wing ‘AL WAHA”. Rate is valid for FIT bookings for up to 9 rooms only. Buffet breakfast is served in all day dining restaurant “Samba”. Half board supplement is valid for either lunch or dinner in “Samba” restaurant which serves buffet. During 24th, 25th Dec & 31st Dec, Half board guests can avail only breakfast + lunch. COMPULSORY GALA DINNER: *An outdoor gala dinner experience will take place at Al Bandar within an open-sky settings catering guests staying at Al Waha and Al Bandar. *The dinner is inclusive of house pouring beverages (soft drinks, water, selection of beers, wines and spirits). *Live entertainment RAMADAN UPDATE: During the Holy month of Ramadan, alcohol will be not be available during lunch service and limited dining options will be available. IMPORTANT NOTE: On 31st December 2025, Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts will conclude its management of Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah and Shangri-La Al Husn after 20 years of operations. From 1st January 2026, the properties will continue operations under the management of Hilton. All contractual agreements, including existing and new reservations, with the two hotels will be fully honoured by the incoming operator. The transition has been planned carefully to ensure minimal disruption to guests. RAMADAN GUIDELINES AND ADJUSTMENTS : Daytime dining is limited to select areas to respect fasting guests. Food and beverage consumption in public areas is discouraged during fasting hours. Some outlets or leisure facilities, such as themed restaurants or bars, may temporarily close during Ramadan. Alcohol service( if licensed) will be available in select designated outlets after sunset or within the privacy of guest rooms. Some outlets may remain dry (alcohol-free) throughout Ramadan. Kindly observe modest attire when exploring the city or public spaces. Long-sleeved tops and dresses are most appropriate. Smoking is discouraged in public areas during fasting hours.
